Prada Case Study & “Modern Naturalism”
The Prada case study explored the complexities of the design development calendar within a global corporate structure. By going through the entire design development timeline linking design, merchandising, prototype development, and brand positioning processes within an overseas sourcing structure, there is an understanding of the importance of historical data and how it informs design choices.
The “Modern Naturalism” concept was a reflection of Prada’s past design choices linked with the effects of the pandemic on consumer buying. Highlighting the feeling of healing and solitude through trend, color, fabric, and silhouette direction to offer consumers solace.

ClO 3D:
Using the CLO 3D software and WGSN trend research, I created a mock brand called “CHAOS” focused on grunge everyday and evening wear. Look one includes a pleated puffed jacket, floral embellished top, and a layered sheer/fur skirt. Look two includes a sheer cape with faux leather circular appliques and a faux leather halter jumpsuit. Look 2 was animated to show the movement of the sheer cape.
